On this page families can find out about the admissions process to enroll children at Crescent Montessori School. Below are also forms to register and pay fees for the academic year 2021-22 and the summer program in July 2021.
2021-22 Academic Year Enrollment Process
We accept children throughout the year if there is space available in our classroom. As our current class is full, Crescent Montessori will begin registration for new students beginning March 2021 for the 2021-2022 academic school year. Our school’s calendar begins in mid-August and runs through the end of June. To be considered for admissions your child must be at least 2 years of age before their first day of school. (Note that most children are ready for our prepared Primary classroom beginning at the age of 2.5-3 years old)
Our goal in the enrollment process is to create a good match between Crescent and a family. Please see below for the steps involved in our admissions process:
1. Schedule a School Tour
You are warmly invited to tour our school and spend time in our classroom and garden. Meeting our Lead Teacher and providing your family and child a feel for our Montessori school is an important part of the admissions process.

2. Registration and Enrollment
After careful review, the school will notify you regarding enrollment. Once the teacher has invited the student to join the class, parents are asked to complete the Registration Form, found below. A non-refundable $500 Registration Fee secures your child’s position and is used towards school materials. You may pay for your Registration Fee either via check made out to Crescent Montessori School (Mail to: Crescent Montessori School, 276 E Napa Street, Sonoma, CA 95476), or online with PayPal via the button below.
